general information

  • To change the charge plan, call *100#, go to Select and enter the digit corresponding to the charge plan you're interested in. You’ll receive a confirmation message. Selecting a charge plan for the first time is free, additional changes will be charged 1.5 euros each. Depending on the charge plan you’ve chosen, you can pick one or 5 favourite numbers.   • If you already have a PrePay number using a charge plan which is no longer on offer, you can replace it with another charge plan from our past offer until 31 March 2009. After that, you can only replace it with plans which are available in our current offer. In addition, whatever your charge plan (except for Favourite Numbers), you can select a favourite number, in any national network, to call for a flat charge of 9 cents/minute. To select your favourite number, call *100# free of charge. Your first selection is free, each subsequent change will be charged 0.75 euros.

  • If you already have a PrePay number using a charge plan which is no longer on offer, you can replace it with another charge plan from our past offer until 31 March 2009. After that, you can only replace it with plans which are available in our current offer.

  • If you have a charge plan from the current offer, you can only switch to another plan from the same offer.
  • For the Start and Music charge plans, you can select a favourite number, from any national network, to call for a flat charge of 8 cents/minute, every time. To set up your favourite number, call *100# free of charge Your first selection is free, subsequent changes will be charged 0.75 euros each.
  • If you have a charge plan from the current offer and your PrePay number has been in the Orange network for more than 18 months, you can select a magic Orange number, to call for a flat charge of 1 cent/minute.
  • To select a number already chosen as a favourite as your magic number, you must first replace your favourite by another number and then set up your desired magic number.
  • You can change your magic number up to 3 times during a calendar year. Each change is charged 0.75 euros. The first magic number set up is free of charge

bonuses for received calls

If you’ve got a Standard, Favourite Numbers, Favourite Time, Unique or Text Messages charge plan, you’re receiving this bonus for each 100 minutes of received calls.
The bonus is assigned depending on how long your number has been in the Orange network, as follows:

conditions for assigning received call bonuses

  • Beginning 1 June 2008, to receive this bonus you must make at least one chargeable call or send a chargeable text message during the calendar month prior to your bonus being assigned. Chargeable calls/text messages use your PrePay credit or they’re included with an option you’ve already set up. 
  • Particular situation: if your PrePay number has been set up in the Orange network less than 60 days, the bonus will be assigned even if you haven’t made any calls or sent any chargeable text messages during the previous month.
  • The bonus is valid for one day, regardless of the number of bonuses received simultaneously. The one-day active period is cumulated with your credit's active period. If your number is in its grace period when you receive the bonus, your credit will be active for one day, but afterwards you’ll have to top up your PrePay account in order to take advantage of a new active period.
  • The grace period of this bonus is also one day and, as happens with the active period, it is cumulated with your account's grace period
  • Free calls don’t count when adding up this bonus (eg Voice Mail – 555, Customer Service – 444, Select – 200 etc)
  • If you receive calls from a pay-monthly customer, only minutes included with their service plan or with any options count when adding up the bonus.
    Calls with a preceding *, from the Orange Young programme, and calls made using promotional minutes given to pay-monthly customers don’t count against this bonus. 
  • When the bonus is assigned, you’ll receive a confirmation text message containing the number of cents offered as bonus.
  • The bonus isn’t assigned to Music charge plan.
  • The bonus is assigned up to 48 hours after adding up the required number of minutes.

How can I check how many minutes I’ve added up from received calls?

  • By calling 444 free of charge and selecting 7 – the information can be accessed only once every 7 days.
  • By accessing *100#, the Self Care service or *144#, where information can be accessed once every 24 hours.

The information is updated every 48 hours.

  • Beginning 1 June 2008, to receive this bonus you must make at least one chargeable call or send a chargeable text message during the calendar month prior to your bonus being assigned. Chargeable calls/text messages use your PrePay credit or they’re included with an option you’ve already set up. 
  • The bonus amount is 2 euros.
  • The bonus is valid for one day, regardless of the number of bonuses received simultaneously. The one-day active period is cumulated with your credit's active period. If your number is in its grace period when you receive the bonus, your credit will be active for one day, but afterwards you’ll have to top up your PrePay account in order to take advantage of a new active period.
  • The grace period of this bonus is also one day and, as happens with the active period, it is cumulated with your account's grace period.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation text message when the bonus is assigned.

When do I get the bonus?

If you've already told us when your birthday is, you'll receive the bonus every year on your birthday. Otherwise, the bonus will be assigned every year on the day you joined Orange. It’s no longer possible to tell us when your birthday is.

30-day top-up bonus

The bonus is awarded when you top up by at least 7 euros within a 30-day period, as a percentage of the amount you topped up. No top-up bonus will be awarded for amounts of less than 7 euros, but they will be counted in the bonus award scheme.

    • The bonus isn’t available for the Music charge plans.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation text message when the bonus has been assigned.
  • After your third top-up, you’ll continue to receive a bonus of 30% of the top-up amount only if you continue to top up at intervals of up to 30 days with values grater that 7 euros

top-up bonus

Every time you top up by more than 4 euros, you'll get a bonus. Its validity is the same as top-up credit. You can check what bonus you should expect to receive by visiting www.orange.ro/prepay/bonusuri.html

loyalty bonus

The PrePay loyalty bonus is equal to 5% of the amount of credit used during the previous year (excluding bonuses), if it's no less than 40 euros.

You’ll get 1 euro bonus for each 60 minutes of calls received from other networks. The bonus is available for Start, My Time and My Group charge plans.

The bonus will be valid for 30 days from the day it is assigned. If you don’t use your bonus credit within this period of time, it will be lost. If your number is in its grace period when you receive the bonus, your credit will be active for one day, but afterwards you’ll have to top up your PrePay account in order to take advantage of a new active period.

bonus for top-up amount

30-day top-up bonus

The bonus is awarded when you top up by at least 7 euros within a 30-day period, amounting to 25% of your top-up. No bonuses are awarded for top-up amounts of less than 7 euros.   
Bonuses are assigned for My Time and My Group charge plans. You’ll receive a confirmation text message when the bonus has been assigned.

  • The bonus is valid for 30 days. If you don’t use your bonus within this period of time, it will be lost.

switching charge plans or setting up options

To switch to another charge plan, to set up or change one or more of your favourite numbers, to turn on or off various services or to set up options currently on offer, you can use any of the following methods:

  • call *100# - offers and options are set up exclusively in Self Care

The Self Care *100# service works as a command – answer system: call *100# and you’ll get a menu as your answer; select what you’re looking for by pressing the key corresponding to the Answer option and then entering the number of the option you want, then press Send. You'll receive sub-options or additional information.

  • call 200
  • login to Web Care

You’ll receive a confirmation text message on your mobile for each change requested. Please wait for the message before calling or sending text messages. If you call or send text messages before your change has been confirmed, you’ll be charged according to your existing charge plan.

replacing your card:

If you’ve lost your SIM card or it's been stolen, blocked or damaged, you can recover your phone number by replacing the card in any Orange shop (http://www.orange.ro/shops/index-en.html).

If you can’t go to an Orange shop, you must call 444 – Customer Service, free of charge, and request a fax declaration to be sent to a number where you can receive it. After filling in the declaration, you must send it by post together with a copy of your identity document and the original PrePay package (optional – if you still have it). The request must be sent by registered post to: bd. Dimitrie Pompei, nr. 9-9A, sect. 2, Bucharest and it must contain the following sentence: “If the card can't be replaced free of charge I agree for the 7 EUR charge to be debited from my PrePay card account."

The card will be replaced free of charge if your number is older than one year, your average yearly usage is greater than 40 euros and if your card hasn't been replaced free of charge over the past 2 years. If these conditions aren’t all satisfied, a charge of 7 euros will be applied for replacing the card.
