financial highlights

Total income of Orange Romania last year reached 393 millions euro, against 378 million euro in 2001, according to figures released by Orange Group, the mobile division of France Telecom.
During last semester, Orange Romania income reached 104 million euro, while the users number exceeded 2.2 millions on December 31, 2002, against 1.63 millions at the end of 2001.

At the end of September 2002, Orange was the largest mobile operator in both the UK with 13.1 million active customers, and France with 18.8 million customers. Liberalization of the telecommunication market has enabled Orange to offer a decrease in its international tariffs of up to 45%. The new tariff structure makes calls easier and cheaper, with only 4 zones simply defined, covering the whole world - each with an unique tariff.
And if you call frequently abroad, you benefit of discounts of up to 20%, depending on the value of your total invoice for international calls (if you have more than one service plans, the discount is applied according to the cumulated amount of the international traffic for all the service plans).

Our aim is to help you work more efficiently and effectively outside the office.
We want you to permanently benefit from the best conditions of price and quality; this is why we launched, starting with February 1 st, new services and offers that should make you be always in advantage:

Tariffs decreased up to 60%
Starting with February 1 st , the tariffs on GPRS services are up to 60%
lower.

GPRS Accelerator
Besides the mobile access to Internet via GPRS, we offer you the GPRS
Accelerator, for the first time on the Romanian market and free of charge, a service enabling the users to double their surfing speed on the Internet (with the possibility to increase the speed up to 6 times).
The prices for accessing Internet via GPRS depends only on the volume of the traffic, that is why, using this service you will be able to reduce the costs up to 5 times.

Wap Unlimited
It is a package that offers directly on your mobile phone fast and unlimited access to a large range of useful information on the basis of a monthly subscribtion.
Now you have no limits accessing the latest economic and financial news (RNB rates), information about hotels and restaurants, you can use the mobile e-mail account and you can even read your Yahoo e-mails.

Rollover traffic
For GPRS packages with traffic included the traffic volume which you have not used next month, up to twice as much the standard traffic included in the package.

A more flexible offer
Starting February the 1 st , our offer is much more flexible, allowing more options that better cover your specific needs. Thus, for Internet mobile access users and mobile e-mail users, we launched a new package Mobile Internet Always-On 30MB traffic included.
