Automobile Dacia - Orange Romania, a long term partnership

Orange continues to improve the services dedicated to its corporate clients, offering complete communication solutions based on innovative technologies and adapted to the corporate companies' needs, including fixed and mobile voice and data services.
Automobile Dacia has been a major customer of Orange Romania for 6 years.
We had an interview with Philippe Salvi, Executive Director of Informational Systems Department, about the partnership between our companies.
Dear Sir, could you tell us what are the communication solutions provided by Orange for your company and what benefits they bring?
Our collaboration with Orange can be considered as a true partnership. Orange was right beside us from the very beginning, helping us implement the entire data and voice network: fixed and mobile voice and fixed data.
Regarding the voice communication, the mobility is essential, both in our commercial activity and in the industrial field, on our production site.
The international data line is crucial for our activity that implies permanent availability and good quality of communication. The partnership with Orange brings us flexibility and efficiency.
The secured WAN connection provided by Orange enables us to have permanent online connection to our international alliance network (Renault-Nissan), thus having the best informational tools in the industrial and commercial field.


Wirefree™ Zone is extending

If you are on a business trip, or you have to make a presentation or you are simply on holiday, you can increase your laptop's mobility by using the Wirefree™ Zone service, now available in another location: Howard Johnson Grand Plaza Hotel in Bucharest.
Wirefree™ Zone service is based on the WLAN (Wireless LAN) technology, which allows radio interconnection among the service users, the infrastructure installed in the hotel and the Orange network.

In order to obtain a highspeed (broadband) Internet connection, you have to choose one access card of 24, 48 or 72 hours and to use the WLAN card with your laptop. In case your laptop is not provided with such a card, you can ask for a WLAN card at the hotel's front desk. You can also access your company Intranet, provided it is interconnected with any Orange VPN (Virtual Private Network).

Depending on your laptop configuration, additional settings might be necessary in order to access Wirefree™ Zone public network.

The spots inside the hotel that benefit from the Wirefree™ Zone service coverage are: Front Desk, Grand Plaza Conference Center, Centro Bar & Lounge, Avalon and Benihana restaurants.
The access cards are available at the hotel's front desk at the following prices:
   14 USD / 24 hours
   24 USD / 48 hours
   33 USD / 72 hours

When inserting the correct user name and password, the account is validated and record is kept of the hours included on the access cards. Access cards may be used in all the locations covered by Wirefree™ Zone; the number of locations is constantly expanding.
