Soon, Orange will launch in Romania the BlackBerry service, first and the most famous
e-mail push solution that enjoys great popularity among business users worldwide because of its simple and efficient use.

BlackBerry is an always connected solution that allows sending and receiving e-mails when you travel, using a BlackBerry handheld. Practically, BlackBerry represents an extension of the office e-mail account on mobile communication equipment.

When the message reaches your e-mail account, its copy is automatically sent ("push") to the BlackBerry handheld. Thus, you benefit from a real time e-mail communication with your employees and business partners, using your office e-mail account while on the move.

Also, BlackBerry allows secured mobile access to Intranet, Internet, voice calls and text messaging, being the most complete mobile communication solution.

If your mobile or if your SIM card has been damaged and can no longer be used, recovering your contacts becomes a priority.

With SIM Agenda Back-up from Orange you can save, store and recover your SIM card directory, under security and confidentiality conditions.

The service is available to Orange subscribers both on their mobile and on web.

how to use the service on your mobile

To use the service from your Orange phone, you have to request the change of your current SIM card to your Orange sales representative.

With the new Smart SIM card, you can access the service from your mobile phone menu, SIM BackUp option, then selecting Activate. You can use the service once you receive the confirmation message.

With this service, you can:

• save the contacts from your SIM card agenda, at a certain moment or periodically, selecting Save option
• change contacts on your SIM agenda
• recover on a new SIM card the the contacts stored on the server, selecting Restore option

how to use the service on web

SIM Agenda Back-up can be accessed on web here with a one time password. At every access, a new password will be sent in a text message to your phone.
On web you can edit, remove and recover on your SIM card agenda the data stored on the Orange server and you can also transfer it on the web list of contacts.In Contacts on web you can save more contacts than the SIM card memory allows and you can select the ones you wish to transfer on your SIM card agenda. Also, on this list you can edit and save additional data fields (i.e.: birthdate, address etc).

Moreover, the Find option is available for the web agenda.
Using the service in roaming engender additional costs. All text messages related to this service will be charged with the roaming tariff for text messages sent to Romania corresponding to that country network. Therefore, it is recommended to change the automatic update periodicity when leaving the country, thus: Orange menu>SIM Backup> Update>Periodic>Stop. At your return, the periodicity can be set up again at original settings.
