Orange launched on 20 April 2005 the Orange World wap portal – a universe of information and entertainment, completing Orange portfolio with a service that offers fast access to useful and entertaining services. Launched for the first time in 2003 in France, United Kingdom and later on in The Netherlands, Slovakia, Switzerland and Belgium, Orange World is now available to Orange clients in Romania.
With Orange World you have access to the widest range of portal services, organised in 3 sections:
Info, where you can always be informed with the latest
financial, social or political news, you have access to weather forecast,
Romanian National Bank exchange rate and you can use the Currency Converter
application.

Enjoy, that offers you relaxation with its rich multimedia
content, including life TV shows, Orange being the first operator to
launch TV and video services on mobile phone in Romania since October
2004.

answerWirefree™ Broadband allows
broadband connection to Internet, e-mail account, web hosting from
any house or business location in the covered area.
The service is extremely easy to install and, due to its radio modem,
it offers mobility inside the house or office.
The technology used for data transfer is Wireless IP in 3,5 GHz frequency
and it is offered by Orange for the first time in Romania.
Together with the contracted maximum bandwidth, the minimum transfer
rate is also guaranteed, so that the quality of service is assured
even in peak hours.
In order to connect to the service you need a desktop or laptop and
the modem supplied by Orange.
The computer connection to the radio modem is done through USB or
Ethernet interface.
The radio modem that operates in the frequency band of 3,5 GHz is
owned by Orange Romania and is offered free of charge for a minimum
12 months contractual period.
Included services:
- unlimited access to broadband Internet (128 kbps, 256 kbps, 512
kbps)
- e-mail account with 20 MB memory space
- web hosting space of 20 MB
- antivirus, firewall and antispam software
- fixed public IP address
