This solution can be implemented easily and quickly and does not require major changes of your network architecture.

BlackBerry Enterprise Server software is installed on a server inside your company’s network, behind the Firewall.

The solution operates with Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes or Novel GroupWise e-mail servers.

Orange offers the best support in installing the solution, both by phone or at your office.

  • 2. the message is received by your company e-mail server
  • 3. BlackBerry encrypts, compresses and transmits the message
  • 4. the message is sent through the internet and the Orange mobile network to the mobile device
  • 5. the message reaches the mobile device where it is decrypted: now you can read and reply to the e-mail message

BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution™ addresses large enterprises that own an e-mail server. Thus, both you and your team members, that travel frequently throughout the country and abroad, can communicate through e-mails with customers, colleagues and business partners, in real time and under utmost secure conditions of transmission. Security is ensured both through system architecture and through advanced encryption of sent messages.

Moreover:

  • Orange provides the best support for the installation and use of the BlackBerry service, both by phone or at your office
  • the service is also available in roaming in all the countries where Orange has GPRS roaming agreements
  • BlackBerry from Orange provides unlimited access to the service based on a monthly fee that includes 20MB traffic (approximately 10.000 e-mail messages/month), making the costs simple and easy to control.

If you don‘t have an e-mail server you can choose BlackBerry from Orange for internet e-mail. This service allows you to manage directly from your BlackBerry handheld up to 10 e-mail accounts hosted by an ISP. You only have to choose and allocate a new e-mail address for your BlackBerry account, i.e. user@blackberry.orange.ro, that will collect the e-mails from your accounts and send them to the BlackBerry handheld. This account offers you 25 MB mamory space. Your subscription also includes 20 MB monthly traffic for e-mails sent and received and internet browsing, through the blackberry.net APN.
