France Telecom has extended its Orange brand to all its communications services for businesses in Romania. Orange Business Services is the single banner for business offers from Orange Romania SA, the market leader in mobile, and Equant Romania SA the recognized provider of world-class international IP communication and IT services.

This follows the June 1, 2006 worldwide extension of the Orange brand to all France Telecom's communications services for businesses. Orange Business Services takes the Orange brand into the global business market with one of the industry's broadest communications portfolios, comprising Equant's international IP communication and IT services, France Telecom's enterprise communications services and Orange's leadership in mobile for businesses.

The move represents the latest milestone in France Telecom's NExT strategy (New Experience in Telecommunications Services) to become the world's first truly integrated operator. Orange Business Services will increasingly offer a set of integrated services including both fixed and mobile voice and data, network services, managed & IT services and outsourcing.

Orange Romania is the market leader in all business segments (small, medium and large companies) offering high quality mobile voice services and EDGE & 3G mobile data solutions dedicated to business customers. Orange is also an integrated operator for large companies offering fixed telephony and fixed data services (leased lines, IP-VPN, internet) using own radio and optical fiber backbone and radio last-mile equipments.

Equant entered the Romanian market in 1993 with two major objectives: to provide a complete range of voice and data network services and to develop information services. The company is recognized in the market for its excellent customer service, technical expertise and extensive IP network providing services including IP VPN, Security, Internet, Hosting, Frame Relay, ATM and X25.
