Interview with Adrian Nanulescu – Manager Corporate Department:

the structure and the activity of the department you head in Orange.
The Corporate Department includes regional sales teams, the customer service team and the operational marketing team. Each team, alone or along with the others, is permanently available to our customers, always trying to offer complete professional, customized solutions, contributing to efficient communication.
We are aware of the fact that the flexibility and the value added services offered to our customers can give them the advantage they need on a very competing market.
Moreover, the fact that part of the customers’ business is developed based on Orange service makes us feel responsible, and this is why we are permanently aware of their needs and requirements.
Why was a business center necessary?
The Business Center completes the consulting services offered to our customers. Here they can receive detailed information from specialists in the field of voice and data services and they are advised about the most suitable solution for their communication needs. The corporate customers will also be invited to visit us whenever we launch a new product or service, taking part in demonstrations.

I came to Mobil Rom in 1999, stimulated by the idea of working in a dynamic and young company.
Together with my colleagues, I experienced the Orange re-branding process adopting the whole new philosophy of this young and dynamic brand.
At the beginning of 2003, I was appointed as Corporate Department Manager and now I’m responsible of a 99 people team, with offices all over the country. Coordinating my colleagues, I am always making sure that Orange brand’s promises are permanently endorsed in our relationship with the clients.
I’m very confident in Orange brand and I believe in the company I belong to, I like my job very much and I think it suits me perfectly. .

Starting with June 23rd, you can call easier anywhere in the world, because Orange proposes you a new option for the International Calls Service. Thus, for a 4 USD monthly fee, you can choose one international zone where you can call at tariffs 40% lower than standard ones.
Also, for an 8 USD monthly fee, you can choose two zones for which you benefit from 40% lower tariffs.
The international calls option can be activated at any moment or deactivated at the first bill date, by calling Customer Service free of charge.
As we mentioned in our previous issue, we are presenting you the official opening of the Orange Business Center.
Located on the ground floor of the Europe House building, 51-53 Lascar Catargiu Boulevard, the Business Center extents in a hall, with elegant and modern design, and the first floor, where meeting spaces are arranged.
On June 17th, Orange customers, major companies representatives, potential clients, as well as journalists and television stations were invited to the opening of Orange Business Center.
After the guests’ arrival, Mr. Adrian Nanulescu, Corporate Department Manager greeted the guests in the opening speech and briefly presented the role this new center would play to complete the consulting services offered to corporate customers.
It was then the turn of Mr. Bernard Moscheni, CEO and Mr. Yves Gauthier, Commercial Director, to greet the guests.
Further on, three of the newest services that are at the base of Orange business communication solutions were presented to the audience.
One of them is GPRS Intranet, application that allows mobile users and remote employees to be permanently connected to company electronic information resources.
The application allows direct transmission of information to company headquarters, either through a virtual private network or Internet.
This service offers the same coverage area as the GSM network. Moreover, based on international agreements concluded by Orange, GPRS roaming will become possible in the near future.
The second application presented was the SMS bulk service that allows the real time transmission of information from various fields of interest.
The message is simultaneously transmitted to a distribution list which could include even few thousands destinations, its origination being possible either through a local application - computer and GSM modem - or through a web application.
Wirefree™ Zone was the third service presented, marking the Orange entry on the Romanian market as a provider of Internet services, introducing as a novelty the launching of hot-spot type of services in Romania (namely wireless access to Internet in business communities areas).
The demonstration of this service used a camera connecting the Business Center to Orange Pantelimon location, thus a real time audio-video connection was established with the 410 service operators.
In the end, guests were invited to a cocktail, while members of the Corporate Department team answered questions related to the newly launched services.
