2003 was a very important year for telecommunication development. The market deregulation allowed a significant growth to the market, due to the liberalization. Many new competitors have entered on the market offering a wide range of voice and data services.

Orange Romania has demonstrated in this environment its capacity to anticipate. tariffs with 30% lower for incoming calls in roaming

Starting from January 1, the tariffs for incoming calls will be lower with 30% for all the Orange subscribers roaming in all the European countries, except Moldavia. At the same time, the division into world zones has changed for incoming calls in roaming. Thus, from next year, Moldavia is zone 0, while zone 1 consists of all the European countries, plus Israel and Lebanon. Zone 2 includes the USA and Canada, while zone 3 is made of the rest of the world and the satellite operator Thuraya.

The above mentioned tariffs can be changed by our partner operators.

Just as before, the billing is made per minute and there is no peak and off peak tariff. The roaming costs are shown separately on the following invoices. From January 1, you will be able to keep in touch more easily with your business partners, no matter where you are.


Star Company

Orange recommends you a new service that facilitates a better connection between your company and its customers or potential ones. It is easy to communicate and simple to use while its activation is uncomplicated and with no additional equipment required.

advantages
With Star Company you can communicate the contact number of your company in a new manner: instead of the classic 074x xxxxxx number, your customers will have the possibility of calling you by dialing a code of your choice (that can be the company name for example), preceded by the (*) key.

For example, in order to call Orange, you dial *672643.

The call made by dialing such a code resembles a regular call made by dialing the regular Orange phone number.

usage
No additional equipment is required.

A code can have any length between 4 to 13 digits, preceded by the (*) key.
A code can be associated only with an Orange subscription number.

Any Orange subscriber or PrePay user can dial such a code, with the exception of the users belonging to Mobile Virtual Private Networks.

The codes can have national or local coverage or a local coverage. The national codes can be dialed from any location within the Orange national coverage area, while the local ones are working only within a city (at your choice).

   a call made by dialing a Star Company code is charged as a regular call inside network (starting with the bundled minutes).
