Wirefree™ Broadband offers broadband connection to Internet services, e-mail and WEB page hosting for any house or company office located in the covered area.
The connection is carried out by radio modem, so you can move your computer wherever you want inside your house or office. It is easy to install and use.
Wirefree™ Broadband from Orange is different from any other Internet service available in Romania.

technical description

The technology used for data transport is Wireless IP in 3.5 GHz, offered by Orange for the first time in Romania.
In addition to the maximum contracted bandwidth, minimum data transfer rate is also guaranteed, so that the service quality is ensured even in peak time.
All you need is a PC or laptop and the radio modem provided by Orange when buying the service.
The connection between the computer and the radio modem is USB or Ethernet.
The frequency band for the radio modem is 3.5 GHz.

  • e-mail account with 20 MB storage space in the following domains offered by Orange: name@orangenet.ro for private customers or name@company.ornet.ro for business customers
  • 20 MB memory for WEB hosting in the domains offered by Orange www.name.orangenet.ro, www.company.ornet.ro or in any other domain owned by the customer.
  • Fixed public IP address
  • Free licensed protection softwares (during the contractual period only): antivirus, firewall, antispam

Orange customers having a mobile voice subscription get a 10% discount from the Wirefree™ Broadband subscription and the chosen services options.
The radio modem is the property of Orange Romania and is offered free of charge for a minimum 12 month contract.
