Wirefree™ Zone

The Wirefree™ Zone service allows you to connect to Internet at speeds of 10 Mbps when you are in one of the public zones covered by Orange WLAN.

technical description

Technology used for data transmission: WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network).
Bandwidth can reach up to 10 Mbps, depending on the WLAN card and the number of simultaneous users.
For the connection, you need: a laptop, a PCMCIA card with WLAN and an access account.

To the same extent, if your company's network is interconnected in a VPN Orange, you can use the resources from your Intranet while you are in the WLAN covered area.

charging principles

The service is charged according to the account validity period.
The account is unlimited (from the traffic volume point of view) and can be valid for 1, 2, 6, 12, 24, 48 or 72 consecutive hours since first autentication moment.
