how to create a multimedia message

You can create a multimedia message by using an old image or a photo that you have just taken by choosing Camera option from you phone menu.
If you wish, you may attach text or sound to it.

In order to create a new message, you must enter your Phone Menu > Messaging > New message > Multimedia Message > write the text, press Options and Insert the picture or the sound. Then Confirm.
Write the phone number or the e-mail address of the addressee. Press Send.

how to send a multimedia message

Your multimedia message may be sent directly to national addressees owning Multimedia Messages compatible phones.

The message will be received by the addressee if he owns a multimedia compatible phone and if he has activated the Multimedia Messages service calling Self Care at *100#, Select option, or Customer Service at 411/444.

If the addresses of your message has a compatible phone but hasn’t activated the Multimedia Messages service, or he has activated it but the phone cannot receive messages (e.g. it has been off for more than 24 hours), the received messages will be sent to him as if he were a customer without a service compatible phone.

The multimedia message may be sent to a service incompatible phone from any national or international network with which Orange Romania has signed interconnection agreements for the Text Messages service.

The addressee will be informed through a text message in Romanian that he has received a multimedia message from you and that he can access it from here, by using the codes received in the same message.
When the addressee has read the message, it will be automatically erased.
A multimedia message sent to an incompatible phone is stored for 30 days while it can be read here.
After this period it is automatically deleted.

The multimedia message may be sent to an e-mail address.
The addressee will receive e-mail from the address 4074XXXXXXX@mms.orange-gsm.com. The text of the message will be displayed in the body of the e-mail; the sound and the picture will be attached files.

Your messages can be sent and stored in Your Album.
Only you can send multimedia messages to Your Album, to the short number 566 directly from your multimedia compatible Orange phone.

how to receive a multimedia message

You can receive messages from other national users of the service. They cannot be received from e-mail addresses.
