With Group Text Messages it's now easier to write messages to your friends and colleagues when you have good news, or you want to invite them downtown or to a movie, or when you send them season's greetings, and you can be sure that nobody will be forgotten.

how does it work

With this service you can easily and rapidly send the same text message to all, in the same time, either from your Orange phone or from web, without additional costs, at the normal tariff for a text message sent to each of recipients.

You can use this service in roaming. In this case, the tariff of a text message sent to a distribution list is made of the national tariff for the text message sent to each recipient, and to this total cost is added the roaming tariff for one text message sent to Romania, corresponding to that foreign operator. The roaming tariff for a text message is applied for each operation made with the distribution lists, corresponding to that foreign operator.

on your mobile
To use this service, ask the replacement of your current SIM card with a Smart SIM card at any Orange shop or Orange partner. With the new SIM card, the service is accessible directly on your mobile in Orange menu/Grup SMS.

on web
For security reasons, the access to Group Text Message web service is restricted by a one time password.
Group Text Messages is accessible on web, regardless of the type of SIM card you have. You need a one time password every time you access the service and you will receive the password in a text message on your Orange phone.
The password is valid for one session only. When quitting the service, the browser should be closed or the session will expire after 30 minutes of inactivity and a new password will be required.

how much does it cost

The service can be used without additional costs, at the normal tariff of a text message to each of the recipients, according to your tariff plan. For Prepay users, the tariff is 0.05 EUR per message.

how to get it

This service is available to all Orange subscribers from the beginning, without activation fee. To activate the service access Self Care *100# or call Customer Service.
