how does it work

If you call 312 from your Orange phone, you have access to the following types of information:

  • phone numbers, addresses and details on corporations, institutions, companies
  • weather forecasts every 3 hours, for 1, 3 and 7 days
  • news updated every 15 minutes
  • TV programs
  • important events scheduled in Romania for the year
  • NBR rates, with a data base with the exchange rates of the main currencies since January 1st, 1997
  • currency converter; other specialized financial information
  • legislative mini-guide
  • games, daily and monthly horoscope, Tarot, Lotto results

If you have the intelligent SIM card, you can access this service through text messages and you will find out:

  • weather forecasts every 3 hours, for 1 and 3 days
  • NBR rates, with a data base with the exchange rates of the main currencies since January 1st, 1997

  • daily and monthly horoscope

Through this SIM card, you can obtain all information direct or you can schedule their receipt from your mobile phone.
For example, you can choose to receive the ROL-Euro exchange rate every weekday at 7 a.m., and the daily weather forecast at 8 a.m.

If you are a WAP user and you select to be informed by this means, you have access to:

  • tramway, trolley bus, bus and subway routes, with inter-links, for Bucharest

The access to this service, by dialing 312 costs EUR 0,40*
The first minute costs EUR 0,12*.

The text message received, containing direct information costs EUR 0,35* (including the one required from the Info 311 menu of your SIM card).

The text message received, containing programmed information (the type programmed, updated, periodical) costs EUR 0,25* (including the one required from the Info 311 menu of your SIM card).

The WAP minute costs EUR 0,06*.
For GPRS/EDGE traffic you are charged according with the data package.
