The Mobile Data Communications service offers you the possibility to send/receive any kind of data files while on the move by using a mobile phone and a PC (either laptop or desktop computer). Also, this service can be used for various industrial applications specific to each domain of activity (e.g: TV audience measurement).

Now you can communicate with your partners or collect data from regions not covered by the fixed network.

Technology used: CSD (Circuit Switched Data).
Sending transfer rate: 9600, 4800, 2400 bps, depending on the receptor's capacities.
Receiving transfer rate: 9600 bps.


usage

The Mobile Data Communications offers you the possibility to communicate inside and outside the Orange network with fixed or other GSM networks. Also, you can make international and roaming data calls.

You can use this service in a broad spectrum of applications:
sending/receiving text files, presentations (Power Point etc.), software, fixed and animated images etc.

charging principles

Charging is made for connection time.
Charging unit: the first minute is indivisible while the following minutes are charged per second (for national calls).
