The USB EDGE modem has a SIM card slot with Orange mobile data services previously activated on it: mobile internet access or unlimited traffic options.

When the modem is connected to the USB port and the computer is started, the operation system will identify new equipment. This should be installed in compliance with the user guide instructions that require inserting the installation CD in the CD-ROM driver. After the installation, a connection should be created as required by instructions and then you can start surfing the internet.
The installation CD contains drivers for the following operation systems: Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

Depending on the area you are in, the modem will connect at speeds of up to:
   177,4 kbps– over EDGE (in areas covered by EDGE technology)
   53,6 kbps – over GPRS
   9,6 kbps – over CSD


Charging principles

The charges are corresponding to data services and offer activated on the SIM card.
