MyBanking

MyBanking is the Mobile Banking service which offers Orange customers easy access to their Raiffeisen Bank accounts from their Orange phone.
The Orange SIM card enables a succession of menus to be displayed on the phone screen, guiding you anytime you need to use mobile banking services and ensuring that the communication between bank and customer is secure.
The service works anywhere in the Orange coverage area in Romania and abroad in the countries where Orange has set up roaming agreements.

technical information

The service requires the user to select options from a menu and possibly enter information using the phone keyboard.
The user’s options are sent to the bank only after they are encrypted.
Upon reaching the bank, they are decrypted, the bank executes the requested operation and replies to the user via an encrypted message which is decrypted by the SIM card.

usage

The service is easy to use, with simple structured commands and fast navigation by selecting the options available in the mobile banking application stored on the SIM card. The user can take advantage of the service anywhere in the Orange coverage area and when he or she is abroad, wherever Orange has set up roaming agreements.

charges

The monthly charge is 0.5 EUR for private individuals and 1 EUR for companies and other organisations. Payment for the service is made via the current account used to sign up for the service.
A charge of 0.12 EUR is applied for messages received containing the information requested and 0.23 EUR for confirmation messages in the case of intra- and inter-bank transfers.
When roaming, the automated message and warning message charges remain the same, while any other transactions initiated by you will be charged according to the MyBanking service charge plan, in addition to the roaming charges incurred by sending text messages while abroad. how to sign up

Any Orange customer can request the free SIM card required for the service at any Orange shop. You should then talk to the nearest Raiffeisen branch in order to sign a MyBanking service agreement, personalise your service profile and receive the envelope containing your Bank-PIN.
