what’s Orange World Video?
In Orange World Video you can watch live TV and video clips with news, sport, music, movies and more directly on your mobile, anytime and anywhere you like. There are two ways to watch the video clips: using streaming or downloading the video clips on the phone (download).
what’s the difference between streaming and download?
Streaming technology allows the opening and viewing of video and audio clips in real time, while they are loading. By streaming you can access live a TV/radio program or images from a still camera or any other files with a fixed length stored in a database. The files are not downloaded on the phone.
how much it costs?
You pay the traffic according to your WAP tariff plan and also the access to each video clip available in the video portal.
For streaming, you can choose one of the 3 available subscriptions:
- unlimited access to Orange World Video for 30 days. Price: 3.5 EUR
- unlimited access to Orange World Video for 24 hours. Price: 0.8 EUR
- you can pay for each access; the price is different depending on the content you choose. Certain services like live cam, movie trailers and radio stations or video clips from 1st League are free of charge. The access to other content like TV live, news, TV shows and TV series, music videos are charged with 0.20 EUR/access
- The video clips from adult domain and the access to mobile TV, Penthouse TV, Blue, are charged 1 EUR/access, and are not included in the unlimited access subscriptions. The access to these services is allowed only to persons over 18
The video clips available for download can be:
- free of charge (movie trailers)
- 0.8 EUR / video clip (sport domain)
- 1.6 EUR / video clip for the music and adult domains

do I need special settings to access Orange World Video?
Yes. For many phones you find the streaming settings in the video player’s settings. It is necessary to setup the connection that you are going to use for the data transfer: choose the access point “wap” for the connection and deactivate the proxy settings.

how can I activate and configure the WAP service?
To use the video services, it’s necessary to activate WAP service via GPRS or EDGE. Also, the phone must be correctly configured.
what is the length of the video clips available in Orange World Video?
Some of the videos have a limited duration that varies between some minutes and some hours. You can access live 24 hours a day, live cameras, radio and TV stations.
how do I know if EGDE or GPRS technologies are used to view the videos?
If you have a GPRS compatible phone then GPRS technology is used automatically.
If your phone is EGDE compatible, you can choose between GPRS and EGDE technologies in the Orange World Video homepage. Orange has now EDGE coverage in 41 county capitals. Choose GPRS technology when you are not in an EDGE covered area.
i couldn’t watch video clips using EDGE technology. What’s wrong?

the TV stations are the same with the ones I watch on my TV at home?
Some TV stations, like ProTv International, Realitatea TV, TV5 are the same ones you watch on your TV. Others have been created especially for mobile phones based on the TV stations shows, but the program can differ from that TV station program.
how can I get the TV program for the stations available on mobile?
To find out what is broadcasted on each TV station, access “Now on TV” section in the Orange World Video homepage
