Next, we are answering to one of the most frequent questions coming from you:
What are the charging principles in roaming?
When you are abroad, both outgoing and incoming calls
are charged. The person that calls you will be billed for a simple national
phone call, whereas you pay for the cost of the international call between
Romania and the country where you are.
In roaming, the tariffs applied for phone calls, fax and data transmissions and text messages differ from a country to another and even from an operator to another.
These tariffs are calculated according to the ones of the local operator whose network you are registered in.
Receiving text messages is free of charge.
You can find out more about roaming tariffs by accessing our Internet page www.orange.ro > covering the world.
Your roaming calls are billed by Orange according to the call records received from the host network you used while roaming. The time to send these records may vary from one operator to another. Consequently, the list of roaming calls included in your invoice could be incomplete. In this case, the list will be complete only at the next invoice.
Important: In order to send text messages in roaming, your handset must have the Message Center set on the number: +40 744 946 000. Please check in the menu: Messages/Settings/Message Center.
