family service plan
There are lots of things you enjoy sharing with your loved ones each day. Orange gives you the choice of a service plan based on your family’s monthly communication needs that best suits your requirements. The family service plan includes a monthly credit which your family members can use as they wish.
Calls and text messages between family members are discounted by 50%, even after the credit included with the plan has been used up. If all the credit is used exclusively for calls among family members, its value is effectively doubled. Each user of the plan can check the remaining credit balance or additional costs for the whole family for free, anytime, by calling the Cronos service. It is thus a lot simpler to have control over your family’s communication budget. In addition, you no longer need to worry about managing lots of phone bills, because you only pay one each month.
As a result, you and your family get several great rewards:
- freedom to communicate – you choose how you use the credit included with your service plan: by talking among yourselves or to any other national or international number, by sending text or multimedia messages or by surfing on wap or the Internet.
- 50% discount on call and message charges among family members even after the credit included with the service plan has been used up
- control over costs – you know how much you want to pay and you can check the remaining credit for the whole family by calling the Cronos service free on 415 or *115#
- lower call charges – you get 50% off calls to other members of your family, identical charges for calls to Orange numbers or landlines and the lowest charges for calls to other national mobile networks
- excellent value – no matter what your family service plan, you get a monthly bonus on top of your credit
You’ll also get new benefits for your family:
- 2 PrePay numbers for your family: you can designate 2 of up to 6 members of your family as Orange PrePay users. All numbers included in your family service plan will get a 50% discount on calls and text messages to these two PrePay numbers.
- 1 international number for your family: by 31 December you can opt for one of up to 6 members of your family to have an international number in Europe (landline numbers only), the USA or Canada. Calls from the rest of your family to this number cost 0,055 euro/minute and text messages 0,025 euro/message. Your family can keep this number until 31 March 2008.
Any credit not used up during one month is automatically rolled over to the next month (up to one month’s worth).

One service plan can be used by 2 and up to 6 users, each with his or her own SIM card and phone number. There is no monthly charge for 2 users and each new user incurs a 2 EUR monthly charge.
