Orange Money PSD2

Introduction

As mandated by the PSD2 regulation Orange Money offers access to organizations authorised as Account Information Service Providers (AISPs), Payment Information Service Providers (PISPs) and/or Payment Instrument Issuing Service Providers (PIISPs) to a dedicated interface, developed in accordance to the Berlin Group API standard.

The security model used by Orange Money is in accordance with Open Banking UK standard and is based on OpenID Connect – an extension of the OAuth2 protocol. The necessary details regarding the implemented authentication mechanism will be shared with the Third Party Providers during the on-boarding process.

The Orange Money API is RESTful and all responses are in JSON format. The Orange Money sandbox can be accessed at the address:
