Out of Office

for you

The Out of Office service enables Autoreply text messages to be sent automatically when your phone is off, when you can’t answer a call, you reject a call, you’re engaged in another call, or when you’re outside the network coverage area. You can easily set up the automated messages and the events that will trigger them.

You can access the service via the web, wap, Self Care (*100#) or via the new Smart SIM card, available soon at any Orange shop.

how it works

No matter how you access the service, you can turn Autoreply messages on and off easily by selecting “START Autoreply” or “STOP Autoreply”, respectively.

If you haven’t yet set up your Out of Office service, click “START Autoreply” and the service will send the application’s preset Autoreply messages in each of the 3 cases: “No answer”, “Busy” and “No coverage”.

You can create, edit or delete your own Autoreply messages and set your events and their associated messages as soon as you access the service.

In addition, for better control of the service, you can use the “private list” option which allows you to enter up to 20 phone numbers. By activating the private list, Autoreply messages will only be sent to the numbers on that list.

You can check the list of sent Autoreply messages via the web, by accessing the “history” option.

Anytime you start or stop the automated Autoreply messages, you’ll get a confirmation text message letting you know the total number of Autoreply messages sent in that period.

Every time you access the service, you’ll get a different password via a text message to your Orange phone.

You can only use this password for one session. Close the browser when you exit the application, otherwise the session will expire (after more than 30 minutes of inactivity) and then you’ll need a new password.

how much it costs

Autoreply messages sent to national numbers are charged 0.025 EUR/message.

Autoreply messages sent to international numbers will be charged according to the standard charge for text messages sent to international destinations.

Using the service while roaming may incur additional costs if you manage the service when you’re abroad. In this case, all text messages sent will be charged as roaming messages sent to Romania from the foreign network you are visiting.
