An online space for you and your friends. You can create your own profile, make new friends and talk to them through instant messages or texts, tell people your good news and wish them a happy birthday on time. What’s more, the agenda on your SIM card will be secure and you can also see which of your agenda contacts is using the service at the same time as you.

Group Text Messaging, SIM Agenda Back-up, Out of office and Birthday Messaging are all just a click away.

Set up the service by making a free call to Customer Services on 411 or Self Care on *100#. If you’ve already signed up for one or more Personal Space services, you can activate any of the other services directly over the Internet.

how it works

You can access Personal Space at www.orange.ro/personalspace or from the pages for SIM Agenda Backup, Group Text Messaging, Birthday Messaging, or Out of office.
The service is divided into three categories: Backup & Restore, Messaging and Networking.

Backup & Restore – features useful services which safeguard against loss of personal data and facilitate recovery. This category includes SIM Agenda Backup.

Messaging – features services enabling swift communication by text with large groups of recipients or individual recipients, also enabling users to send text messages when they are unable to answer a phone call. This category comprises the services Group Text Messaging and Out of office.

Networking – for online communication with instant messaging, socialising or scheduling automatic messages for birthdays of people you know. This category comprises the services Birthday Messaging and Personal Space Chat.

On Personal Space you can set up a personal profile visible to other users. Choose your favourite handle and you can contact or be contacted by other users, communicating with them online via instant messaging. You can also change your status as seen by other Personal Space users and choose to keep receiving instant messages via text even after you log out.
Each time you access the service you’ll receive a new username in a text sent to your Orange phone which you can use for one session. When you exit the application it is advisable to close your browser, otherwise your session will expire after 30 minutes of inactivity and you’ll end up needing a new username.

what it costs

You can set up all Personal Space services at the same time, paying a monthly fee of 0.40 EUR plus the cost of any text messages you send using SIM Agenda Backup, Group Text Messaging, Birthday Messaging or Out of office.

Here is the cost of each Personal Space service, listed separately:

SIM Agenda Backup: setup fee is 3 EUR, one month’s subscription costs 0.40 EUR.

Group Text Messaging: messages are charged at the standard rate for messages to each recipient according to the service plan you’ve chosen. The rate for PrePay users is 0.05 EUR per message.

Birthday Messaging: sending a birthday message costs 0.05 EUR. Receiving a notification of a birthday or saint’s day costs 0.04 EUR per message.

Out of office: Autoreply messages sent to national numbers are charged at 0.025 EUR each. Autoreply messages sent to international numbers will be charged at the standard rate for international text messages.

Personal Space Chat: Online instant messages are free. Text messages are charged at the usual texting rate.

Using the service while roaming will incur extra costs if the user carries out any service management operations. Any text messages sent will therefore be charged at the international texting rate charged by the foreign network for messages to Romania.

Personal Space services are available on all Orange Service Plans and also for PrePay users, except for Birthday Messaging and Out of office which are only available to subscribers.
