Orange offers you a new and easy to remember way of reaching various companies. You can dial specific codes, representing brands or service names, that are allocated upon request to partners. The codes are 4 to 13 digits long preceded by (*) star. Well known brands from tourism, air transportation, car rental can be reached this way.


how does it work

Instead of the regular 074x xxx xxx Orange phone number you can dial the short-code of that company.
The codes can have national coverage or a local one: the national codes can be dialed from any location within the Orange Romania national coverage area, while the local ones are working only within a city.
These codes don't represent a valid text message recipient.

You will be able to use this service if you are an Orange subscriber or a PrePay user, with the following exception:
you belong to a Mobile Virtual Private Network
you are using a prepaid card from an international mobile operator and you are roaming in Orange Romania (the access of the postpaid subscriber of foreign networks is allowed depending on the technical al logistical resources of Orange Romania and the partner operators)


how much does it cost?

When dialing a star-code, either a national or a local one, the call is charged as a regular call within the network ( starting with the bundled minutes ).
